Before joining Monotype, Norbert worked as a graphic designer on book, brand, and editorial designs. However, as his fascination with black-and-white forms did not wane, he went on to study typeface design at the University of Reading, marking the beginning of his journey into the world of type.

When Norbert is not busy with type, he can be found outdoors in the woods on countless hiking trails, playing guitar, or trying out the next delicious stew recipe.
