The AI Environments Privacy Policy applies to the use of the AI apps, connectors or similar AI-related services, each provided by Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal offices at 600 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, Massachusetts 01801, USA, and our subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree that we may collect, process, parse, store, retain and use your information, which may include your personal information, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as revised from time to time. The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use.

What information do we receive and collect?

We collect any messages you send us through the Services (such as, search queries and prompts). We use this information to operate, maintain, provide and improve the features and functionality of the Services to you, to correspond with you, and to address any issues you raise about the Services.
(b) Additional information we receive from AI platforms
Additionally, we may obtain information about you from AI Platforms. Examples of the information we may obtain from such platforms include meta data such as session identifiers, anonymized user identifiers, and organization identifiers.
Some platforms may also send us additional metadata such as basic information typically shared when you visit a website, such as device or browser type, language and region settings, and approximate location. We do not receive your IP address, the approximate location is derived by AI platforms based on your IP address and reflects a general area like your city or region, not your exact street address or GPS coordinates. We may receive this additional metadata but do not use, store, or process it. None of the data described above allows us to identify a particular person (non-personally identifiable information, non-PII).
(c) Information we collect from you automatically
We may directly collect or generate certain information about your use of the Services (such as user activity data, redirect activity, and clickstream data) for data analytics and machine learning, and to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Services. We may also use third party analytics tools that automatically collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the click-through rates and other information that assists us in improving the Services.
What information do we use?
We may use the search queries and prompts, certain information from AI platforms including session identifier and anonymous user identifiers, and information we collect using third party analytics tools (such as user activity data, redirect activity, and clickstream data) for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving and providing the features and functionality of the Services to you, and to address any issues you raise about the Services.
How do we use the information?
We may use the information such as user search queries and prompts, certain information from AI platforms including session identifier and anonymous user identifiers, and information we collect using third party analytics tools (such as user activity data, redirect activity, and clickstream data) for a variety of purposes, such as to:
- Providing you with the Services: We use information about you to provide the Services to you. This includes operating and maintaining the Services, to process search queries and prompts to give you access to the font previews, font information and follow-up font insights and ideal font styles to you.
- For data analytics: We use information about you to help us improve the Services and our users’ experience, including by monitoring aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, sessions, traffic, and usage patterns.
- For Services improvement (including analytics and machine learning): We may analyse your activity, search queries, prompts and related data to provide and customise the Services, and to train our algorithms, models and AI products and services using machine learning to develop, improve and provide our Services.
How and with whom do we share and disclose the information?
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share your personal information with our subsidiaries and affiliates. Also, we deliver certain content for our Services through and/or using third party applications, our or third-party programming interfaces, extensions that are hosted on our Services or through other third-party websites and/or messaging platforms. When you use our Services, you are authorizing those third parties to receive your information and additionally to potentially share any or all of your information with us, based on your privacy or other settings on that particular third-party network or platform. The purposes of such information exchange are:

What data do we return to AI platforms?
We may return font recommendation results to the AI platform in response to your query to provide the Services to you. This may include font names and previews, foundry information, font tags, classification, and visual attributes, font insights and ideal font styles and links to view fonts on MyFonts.com. This data does not include personal information.
What happens when you interact with results?
When you click through to MyFonts.com, you will leave the AI platform environment and enter our website. We may collect information about your use of the Services (such as user activity data, redirect activity, and clickstream data) for data analytics and to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Services. We may also use third-party analytics tools that collect information including the click-through rates that assists us in improving the Services.
Your use of MyFonts.com is subject to the MyFonts Website Privacy Policy (https://www.myfonts.com/a/font/legal/website-use-privacy-policy), which may apply to the collection and processing of information during your visit. What rights do I have if I am a California consumer?

How do we keep your information secure?
We and certain third parties we employ to collect or store your information use commercially reasonable organizational, technical and administrative means intended to protect collected, provided, stored and/or transmitted information, including your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access or disclosure. Do we collect information from children under the age of 13?
We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from children under 13 years of age, and no part of our Services is directed to children under the age of 13. Children under 13 should not use our Services and should not provide their personal information to us. Do we transfer data and do we transfer data across borders?
